December 5, 2009:  The first SSPHC Open Play Day "Toys for Trots" was a success.  The exhibitors had a great time with all of our open classes, our fun events (Hairy horse halter, egg & spoon race, ride a buck, etc.) and our nice prizes.  We gave away trophies and buckles for high point awards.  We also met some new friends that are excited about coming to more Open shows.  Welcome to the SSPHC.

We are also very proud to announce that, at the show, the SSPHC gathered around twenty five toys for "Toys for Tots" as well as some cash.  These toys were taken to the Channel 8 station on December 11th.  Thank you to everyone who participated!
